New York State Museum

New York State Capitol
The New York State Capitol is an impressive building located in Albany. It serves as the seat of state government and was built at a cost of approximately $25 million. That’s why it is considered one of the most expensive government buildings of its time.
Inside the Capitol you can enjoy some attractions such as the Million Dollar Staircase, famous for its architectural details; the Legislative Chambers, which includes the Senate Chamber and the Assembly Chamber; and the Hall of Governors; which has portraits of the state’s governors.
